Café 2000 (M Hotel)
It is Christmas time, which means enjoying the goodies, seasonal delights, and festive spreads. And if you are thinking of a place which is not too expensive to treat the family and friends, try Santa’s Sumptuous Spreads at Café 2000 of M Hotel on Anson Road.
Their semi-buffet dinner consists of a lavish spread of appetisers, including the freshest seafood selections like Oysters on ice, Yuletide Goodies and Desserts, together with a choice of festive main course. All you have to bring is an appetite and some good company.

You will love Sliced Turkey Breast with Chestnut stuffing and Cranberry Orange Jelly, Baked-marinated T-bone Lamb with Provencian Potato, Grilled Black Pepper Tuna, Spinach Lasagne and Mango Salsa with Passion Fruit, and Char Rib-eye of Beef with Wild Mushroom Sauce, Aragula and Truffle Mashed Potato.
I have found the menu for their Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day Brunch to be enticing too. They include:
• Poached Chicken Breast with Herb in Superior Broth, Braised Baby Cabbage and Mashed Potato
• Glazed Honey-baked Ham and Marinated Cajun Tom Turkey with Warm Pineapple and Raisin Compote
• Garlic Herb-crusted Loin of Lamb with Red Cabbage and Caramelised Figs
• Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Blue Cheese Dressing accompanied with Yorkshire Pudding
• Baked Baby Lobster with Festive Sauce accompanied with Sautéed XO Sauce Thick Vermicelli
• Pan-fried Salmon with Seasonal Vegetables, Mashed Potato, Lime Vanilla Cream and garnished with Salmon Roe
Both Christmas Eve’s Dinner (6.00pm – 11.00pm) and Christmas Day’s Brunch (11.30pm – 3.00pm) are priced only at:

Orchard Café (Orchard Hotel)
At Orchard Hotel Singapore, Christmas Eve’s Dinner Buffet and Christmas Day’s Buffet Brunch can be had at Orchard Café (Lobby Level).
You can enjoy a lavish selection of appetising salad, soups, seafood, Western and Asian cuisine from favourites like Alaskan Sliced Abalone, Pan-fried Braised Veal Cheek, Pan-seared Duck Breast with Grilled Peaches, and Teriyaki Glazed Fillet of Cod, as well as a Live Cooking Station serving Lobster with Truffle Risotto and Sautéed Wild Mushroom with Herbs. While in the hotel, you will enjoy taking pictures of the splendid 22-feet Nutcracker Dream Castle that is standing in the Hotel Lobby. It is stocked full with mouth-watering Christmas delicacies. The Nutcracker Castle, made from Dark Chocolate and assorted nuts, is a one-stop festive destination for all your desires.
As Christmas is a season of giving, Orchard Hotel will be offering a weekend stay for two (inclusive of breakfast), if you can guess the weight of the chocolate and number of nuts used to create this spectacular castle.

Another place along Orchard Road where you can catch up with friends and family this Christmas is the Marriott Café, located at Lobby Level of Marriott Singapore.

Christmas at Pan Pacific Singapore offers yet another tantalising choice where you treat yourself to an all-you-can-eat feast with Crabs, Mussels and Oysters on ice, Christmas-themed Cold-Cut Platters, Smoked Salmon varieties, a-la minute Pastas, Roasted Turkey and Honey-baked Ham.
