Indonesian public holidays are largely made of religious festivals, such as Hindu’s Hari Raya Nyepi or Christian’s Good Friday. Expectedly, for a country with Mosleem-majority population, there are more public holidays for Islamic festivals.

Other public holidays include international holidays such as New Year day, or national holidays such as Hari Proklamasi Kemerdekaan R.I. We have compiled the list of Indonesian public holidays of 2011.
