The following is the list of official Russia public holidays 2011 recognized by the Government of Russia. On these days, government offices, embassies and some shops, are closed. If the date of observance falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday will be a day off in lieu of the holiday.

In 2011, Monday, 7 March 2011, is thus declared as a one-off bridge public holiday, to be compensated by the simultaneous declaration of Saturday, 5 March 2011, as a regular working day.
